LIBRARY

Renowned Swiss philosopher and poet, Henri Frederic Amiel once said, Everything you need for better future and success has already been written. And guess what? All you have to do is go to the library. In our aim to enrich the minds of our students, we have taken great effort to create a space where children can read, research and explore the world that books open up to them. The school follows an open access system for students, where our students can browse through the available resources for their projects and assignments, or simply spend time there for the sheer pleasure of reading. Our reference counter consists of encyclopedias and the other reference materials on various subjects, which can be freely used within the library premises, while the circulation counter offers a wide selection of books, which are issued out for the students to take home and read. Each grade has a library period on their timetable once a week, which emphasizes the importance of reading in children. During this time, the children read books of their choice during their school day. Our library currently houses fiction and non-fiction books for children of all ages, reference volumes, and age-appropriate magazines and newspapers in order to expand the student’s imagination and language.
