Union Christian Association
Established in 1977, the Union Christian Association (UCA) is a society registered under the Tamil Nadu Societies Registration Act. At its heart, the main objective of the Union Christian Association is to promote value based education in all fields, for the benefit of all people, without any distinction of religion or economic position. Keeping this in mind, the association gives special consideration to students from the weaker sections of the public, and aims to make quality education available to them.
The Union Christian Association has been promoted by a group of Christians hailing from Kerala, and belonging to the Orthodox, Marthoma and CSI denominations. In the last thirty-five years of service, the association has established the Union Christian Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Union Christian Public School (a Higher Secondary school affiliated to CBSE), as well as a College of Physiotherapy. All the institutions are highly renowned and established in their respective fields. The UCA institutions taking pride in maintaining a high standard of discipline and academic excellence, leading to very creditable results in the examinations, as well as producing well-rounded functional students who go on to achieve great things in life.
The Union Christian Association is also registered as a charitable trust with the Director Income Tax Exemptions, Chennai.
